Hi, I am Adiwarna Irawan.
I fell in love to photography since when I was in university when it was the film era.
I love photography because I think that photography is like a time machine that can bring us to the moment when the photos were taken and memory that captured on the photos.
I like photography because I can capture important moments in people’s life especially on weddings.
I am happy to see people falling in love, to see the love connection between 2 different persons.
This is what I want to show on the photos I take.
I want to show their romantic moments on their romantic day, and every other moment on their important day.
For me, wedding is one in a life time moment for a person and I am happy to be part of it.
I want to capture every moment happens on that day.
I do it because I fell in love to wedding photography.

Steven & Moon Wedding at Sahita Villa Canggu by Adiwarna

ADIWARNA, WEDDING

Steven and Moon already like an old friend for me, we are often meet up for discuss about their pre-wedding and their wedding (you can see their pre-wedding photos, from my previous post). I remember when i first meet them for discuss about their wedding day, Moon said “I must be a most beautiful bride on my wedding day”. Of course that not a difficult thing, because Moon is actually beautiful and will be a most beautiful bride on their wedding day.

They choose Villa Sahita, located at the Canggu seaside for their wedding venue. The extensive villa with awesome view, there are many coconut trees with a strong wind blowing.

Their wedding took place very lively, a lot of their dearest and nearest come to Bali. The day was very good, everything went smoothly until at night. The most awaited moment for Steven is, after party.

Japan Prewedding | Edwin & Suci By Adiwarna

ADIWARNA, OVERSEAS, PRE WEDDING

Both of the couple are love travelling. Edwin and Suci decided to visit two big cities in Japan, Tokyo and Kyoto were chosen as the backdrop for the photoshoots. We goes to the iconic sights of Arashiyama Bamboo grove and Fushimi Inari-Taisha in Kyoto.

Walking into the extensive bamboo grove is like entering another world, the thick green bamboo stalks seem to continue endlessly in every direction and there’s a strange quality to the light. You’ll be unable to resist trying to take a few photos here. The couple took some beautiful photoshoot there, this place it’s one of the most photographed sights in the city. Fushimi Inari Taisha is the head shrine of Inari, located in Fushimi-ku, Kyoto, Japan. It’s hard to describe, we can take many great pictures in the hundreds red gates without any other person disturbing. Can enjoy the quietness and magical athmosphere as long as we want.

We also went to Hitachi Seaside Park, there was absolutely stunning. The Kochia bushes were crimson red and plump. We do some casual-romantic photoshoot here, this park is so awesome. Far away from Kyoto, we also do some photoshoot at the capital of Japan, Tokyo. We visited Shibuya, one of Tokyo’s most colorful and busy district. The couple’s took photoshoot between a beautifully messy or messily beautiful. But it’s amazing to see all the crowd walking in different directions.

Shanghai Prewedding | Steven & Moon by Adiwarna & Mario

2016 was year that god made my dreams came true; South Korea, China and Japan were the countries i wanted to visit for prewedding photo session.  
 
I met Steven and Moon in Bali. Steven comes from jakarta, while moon comes from China but has lived in Jakarta 
At first, the couples wanted to do a pre-wedding photos in Bali. Moon want to took a photos in Bali buildings, but Bali have more landscape than buildings. I gave them an idea, what if they took a pre-wedding photo on Shanghai, because Moon had lived there too. Then they are agreed to do a pre-wedding photos in Shanghai.
 
Shanghai is the country’s biggest city, It stands with a rich collection of modern architectures while retaining some rich cultural heritage. 
 
They are really excited for the pre-wedding session, took a photos with them are like photoshoot with a models, they are very good at posing. There was just so much love and chemistry going on during those few hours. They made it so easy for me to capture the honesty between them. we are do the photoshoot for two days, and visited many places. Shanghai Film Park is one of any place that we had visited, we are so lucky because when we was there we can saw how the filming making. Many people there can’t use english, but we are lucky to have moon between us,  because moon can understand every street sign there. The best experience that we can’t forgot.
