Mark & Peige wedding at Amanusa by Gusde

GUSDE, WEDDING

Mark and Paige first met during studying at university. They were classmate and thereafter have been together for eight years. The journey of forming a family together came naturally. Mark didn’t do any of those hype surprises or dramatic proposals. It was simple and genuine that he asked for that one important question in life, and Paige was without a second thought saying ‘I do’. As with their uncomplicated proposal, the decision to choose Bali was just instant and straightforward. The only thing that matter the most was to have a very intimate outdoor wedding ceremony. Their choice fell onto Amanusa when they first saw this resort.

The word Aman means ‘peace, security, safety, shelter’ in Sanskrit. This definition definitely exudes from the resort ambience. Amanusa; not only it is peaceful and serene; the view is just breathtaking with the turquoise water of the Indian ocean. This luxury resort has a sophisticated traditional design of Balinese decorations and sense of being in a Tropical Island. To describe Aman was like describing the couple, I suppose this is why they are meant for each other, Mark and Paige fell instantly for Aman when they first saw it. Labuan Bajo Pre Wedding | Adhi & Dana by Gusde

GUSDE, PRE WEDDING

Many people  just knows about Komodo Island but they don’t know that Komodo Island located in Labuan Bajo.

Labuan Bajo is a fishing town located at the western end of Flores in The Nusa Tenggara region of east Indonesia.  The town is quite small but easy to find accommodation and transportation.

I’ve been  there almost five times. I can feel the natural beauty of Indonesia, it was amazing. Labuan Bajo is very stunning, they have so many beautiful places to explore, not only Komodo Island. They also have Padar Island, Manta Point, Pink Beach, Gili Lawa, and Kalong Island for examples.

Not every couple want to go to Labuan Bajo for pre-wedding session, but in Dana and Adhi case is different. When i explain about how beautiful Labuan Bajo to them and i told them “just think it’s traveling” they think for a minutes until decide to say “yes, we want”

Enjoying the blue ocean use a boat, eating on the boat, sleeping on the boat and explore the island use the boat. Looked the night sky, i never saw the sky full of stars like this before.
This journey to Labuan Bajo was one of a great experience.

Kingson & Heidi Pre wedding at Sumba Island by Gusde

GUSDE, PRE WEDDING

The landscape, the sea, the beach, the peaceful and tranquil environment, Sumba has reminded me of Bali back in the 80s. As if it brings me back to my youth, where I, the lost soul was once searching for adventures and nature beauty, running free and wild exploring the ‘raw’ Bali with my camera. The air that I breathed, the sight what laid in front of me when I first stepped to Sumba had flashed all these memories in a glance and somehow, abruptly I had big smile on my face and this fire deep within that evoked my spirit and energy to say ‘Sumba,I am ready to capture you!”

I was delighted when Kingson and Heidi contacted me for their prewedding. I was deliberately offering Sumba to this beautiful couple who likewise love journey and adventure. I thought, though I have never ever and will never ever bored with Bali as there are still lots to explore nonetheless I needed something different, some kind of feeling when you first fall in love, that magic spark. And so we did go to Sumba, exploring and adventuring. And it was indeed magical.

Capturing this lovebird was very exciting and somewhat adventurous, from the serene beach glazed with golden sand and blue water, to the uninterrupted view of fresh green savannah. Along the way we saw horses, goats and wild boar live freely in the nature, as far as your eyes can see. Not to forget, Sumba also has stunning white sandy beach; smell of the fresh ocean and the breeze flowing harmoniously with the waves made such a great-relaxed feeling. It is absolutely magical spot for sunset too.

Sumba Island is one of three big islands of East Nusa Tenggara. The popularity of this place as tourist destination may not be the same as Bali, nonetheless it’s definitely worth a visit. Sumba has charmed me in a lot of different ways. I promise myself I will be back.

Start the beginning of your love journey in Sumba, beautiful memories captured in magical land is priceless. Worth every corner of your home as you hang them in frames.

JP & Jeremy Wedding reception at Jeeva Saba by Gusde

GUSDE, WEDDING
Having had their wedding ceremony in Jakarta, JP and Jeremy celebrated their intimate wedding reception in Jeeva Saba, an Estate located between the Pura Anyar temple and an oceanfront resort cocooned by rice paddies and coconut trees. Jeeva Saba Bali boasts a 70-meter stretch of vovanic sand beachfront with stunning views across the Badung Strait and Indian Ocean to Bali’s Mt. Agung and the Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Penida Island.
This exclusive intimate wedding was decorated by Cosa Project in cosy colorful themed garden night wedding reception. And organized by Emerald Events.
Capturing the reception through the eyes of all these camera lenses as my weapons of the night, I could genuinely feel they were choosing the location as they were choosing for each other as soul mate. The venue was somehow magically complementing the joy of celebration of their most special night. As in choosing for your partner in life, I could sense glimpses of their emotions when they found and decided to celebrate their once in a lifetime reception at Jeeva Saba. Fresh breezes of the green lush garden mixed with the flirtatious winds of the ocean made the atmosphere such a refreshing and most enjoyable one. Guests and couples mingled with no barriers, very intimate, engaging and as you would always find at home or places you find comfort; it’s warm. And I felt this, genuinely.
I hope this warmth comfort feeling exuded through these photos I captured throughout the night.
May you forever find joy in each other eyes, warmth in each other arm. Love in each other hearthfully.
